Who will be photographing you?
I’m Nick and when it comes to photography my starting point is always people. I photograph on location, working with small businesses, commercial clients and families. They all have one thing in common, they’re looking for authentic photos that tell a true story about who they are.
I genuinely care about the people I work with. I’ll take the time to get to know you and I’ll give you the best advice I can.
Before setting up my photography business I worked in marketing and sales for over 15 years in small and medium sized businesses. I understand the challenges you face and I’ll draw on this experience to help you grow your brand.
Before your photo session…
I’ll ask you to tell me all about you, your business and your brand. I’ll set up a Pinterest mood board so we can share ideas, photos and any other inspiration.
We’ll consider locations to communicate your brand – the background details, the colours, the textures, the light and the tools of your trade. We’ll get to know your ideal customer, so we’re ready to create images that resonate with them.
How will you use your photos?
Maybe you have a website relaunch, you need new images for a print campaign or you just need to be more visible on Instagram. Let me know what you want to create and I’ll photograph with your end use in mind.
Not quite sure yet? No problem, I’ll create a set of images suitable for use across a broad range of platforms and media.
Getting the most out of your photo session
In your planning session we’ll talk about styling and clothing options. What colours best suit your complexion? Are they consistent with your brand? How can you accessorise to create variety and interest in your photos?
Does the thought of having your photo taken fill you with fear? If the answer’s yes I totally understand how you feel. Most of us feel that way too.
I’ll share a few tips to help you relax and encourage you to focus on the opportunities from a great set of personal branding photos. I never rush into taking photos at the start of a session. It’s important to get to know you – once you’re relaxed, you’ll find it’s a really fun and exciting experience.
