When you create a new website, capturing the essence of your business is so important.
Simply showing what you do isn’t enough any more. It’s essential to connect emotionally if you want your customers to engage with your products and services.
An opportunity to collaborate
Recently I had an opportunity to work with Martin Kerslake from Kerslake Design.
As a regular customer of Joe’s Bakery in Bristol, Martin realised their website needed a refresh to capture the true spirit of the business.
Following a few meetings, Joe’s Bakery asked Martin to create their new website. Martin instinctively felt the new website needed more visual storytelling photography to capture the character of the business, and this is where I got involved.
The benefits of bespoke photography
For many clients, who don’t have an in-house marketing team on hand, hiring a professional is a leap of faith. But Joe’s understood Martin’s vision. Additionally, they saw the benefit of using their own photography to create something unique.
The combination of storytelling photography and Martin’s design skills resulted in a new website that feels individual and perfectly aligned to the business.
Finally a huge thanks to the team at Joe’s for all their support to bring their new site to life.
Working with Nick has been fantastic!
The whole process from first contact to receiving our final images has been such a stress free experience. Nothing was too much trouble.
We were in the process of updating our website and Nick came highly recommended as someone who could help us capture what we wanted for our website. This experience was a first for us a company and we were unsure what to expect.
Nick spent a lot of time communicating and guiding us through what to expect. The day of the shoot went without any problems and Nick did fantastically well to work around a very fast paced bakery.
The shots he captured are amazing!! Would highly recommend.
