How It Works

My aim is to make every part of your experience an enjoyable one, from your initial contact, through to the portrait session and choosing your favourite images and prints.

Getting to know you

We'll start with a planning session that we can have over the phone, Skype or FaceTime. You can tell me all about your family and the kind of photos you're looking for.

The more you can share with me, the better I can understand your hopes and aspirations and any worries you may have. My approach is to listen and to get to know you. I'll answer any questions and give you all the information you need to help you prepare for your photo session, so we can capture amazing photos of you all together.

We'll work together to ensure you have an unforgettable experience that’s fun and stress free for everyone.

Beautiful locations in and around Wiltshire

I can help you choose the right location for your photo session - here are a few of my favourites.

• The village of Lacock and the country walks nearby
• Corsham and Bradford on Avon's river walks, gardens and countryside
• Castle Combe's woodland reserve and walks through the Cotswold hills
• The Westbury White Horse with stunning views across Wiltshire
• Westonbirt Arboretum, a fun day out and famous for its autumn colours

Booking your portrait session

Once you've confirmed you'd like to proceed, I'll get you booked in.

You’ll be given access to a beautifully designed client portal.  Here you'll be able to mange all your personal details,  access your photos in your gallery, select favourites and share photos on social media.

How the session will work and the approach

Before the photo session we’ll discuss the style of photos you’re looking for.  My approach is to keep everyone involved and relaxed, to have some fun and to capture moments as they happen. If there are young children involved I’ll get down to their level – children can be so expressive and we want to let their imagination and creativity run free. Sessions typically last one to two hours and we won’t rush as it’s important for everyone to feel relaxed.

Before we meet I'll share a few tips and ideas to help you get the most from your photo session.

The weather and the seasons

Many families choose spring, summer and autumn for their photo session, but the winter months can be magical too, with crisp and bright days. It's a great time to wrap up and head out for an invigorating country walk!

Choosing the right clothes for the season makes such a difference and it's worth taking some time to think about what you'll wear on the day.  If you would like a few ideas please take a look at  'my tips on what to wear' .
