Updated 12th April 2021.
Following the recent UK Gov. update, this post contains the latest guidance for my photo sessions in 2021.
The UK Gov. published the Covid-19 Response – Spring 2021 setting out a roadmap out of the current lockdown in England, with the final phase taking place no earlier than the 21st June 2021.
We remain within stage 2 (effective 12th April), until stage 3 which is planned from 17th May 2021.
During this period non-essential retail and hospitality has reopened with limits and some control measures still in place.
The rules still allow for exceptions for Business to Business Photography (B2B), including headshots, personal branding and business marketing photography where larger groups can meet where there is a business need.
To help you understand what that means, I’ve outlined the approach for my photography services below.
Where there is a business need, ie a Business to Business (B2B) service, photoshoots can continue indoors and outdoors during the roadmap period.
With outdoor sessions we can choose quiet and open spaces and very easily maintain a two metre distance.
Indoor headshot, personal branding and business marketing photography sessions can also continue, however, we’ll need to consider each shoot on a case by case basis, to ensure we can maintain the safety of everyone involved.
If you’re interested in a business photography session, we can have a chat about locations and how we can photograph you safely.
The current UK Gov. guidelines restrict the gathering of large groups and many businesses have put their event and conference programs on hold.
There is a gradual relaxation of the number of people that are able to meet at events – please refer to the UK Gov Guidelines for the latest update on the lockdown roadmap for 2021.
If you’re planning a corporate event later in the year or you’d like to chat through some ideas about how to capture your event feel free to get in touch.
If you’re interested in planning a family photo session, please given me a call as we can start outdoor family photo sessions again from the 29th March 2021.
Following the changes effective from 29th March 2021 up to six people from two households can meet outdoors and in domestic back gardens.
Stage 3 (no earlier than the 17th May 2021) will see a relaxation of most legal restrictions on meeting others outdoors. Although gatherings of over 30 people will remain illegal. Indoors, the Rule of 6 or 2 households will apply.
My larger family photo sessions with multiple households will continue to remain on hold for now.
I hope to restart my extended family photo sessions from Stage 4 of the roadmap, starting from 21st June 2021.
For now all of my special occasion photography will remain on hold, as these sessions are likely to involve many people from multiple households.
As with extended family photo sessions, I’m hoping these sessions will resume from Stage 4 of the roadmap on the 21st June 2021.
If you’re planning a special occasion, maybe a special birthday, a wedding anniversary or a christening later in the year I’d love to hear from you.
Feel free to give me a call and if you’d like to share a provisional date we can start the planning process and firm up the details nearer the time.
Gift vouchers are available from just £25 and in increments of £25. Give me a call if you’d like to talk through the options or if you’d like a brochure.
